I had the privilege of designing a new Art Studio at the Edmonton Islamic Academy.
Most thought went into the large cabinet system: it is able to hold both legal-size portfolios and art toolboxes for up to 400 students, have drying space for about 40 canvases of 26x30 inch, and has ample lock-able cabinets for more expensive photography equipment.
The Art Studio was also home to Photography and Graphic Design. It was the school's first venture into 10 computers with Adobe Creative Cloud and stepping up the students' career-technical competencies. It created a testing ground for further expansion of these subjects in the to-be-build STEAM Makerspace.

I must have re-worked this drawing at least ten times, to make sure it allowed 40-50 large canvases to dry at once, house 400 portfolios and art tool boxes. I was quite happy with the result.
